We are volunteers raising funds and awareness for a treatment and ultimately a cure for Huntington disease. While this promising research is ongoing, we try to improve the lives of families affected by HD.

    Check out our Wish List.

We also work closely with HSC's Resource Centre Director.

Open Invite: Chapter Volunteer Meetings

The Southern Alberta Chapter of the Huntington Society of Canada is run by volunteers who believe the fight against Huntington disease and finding help for families with HD is important.  We find time in our lives busy with work, health issues, school, relationships, children, caregiving, and other volunteer activities to make a difference.  There are opportunities for all levels of volunteer commitment and in many different capacities.  Some events require only a one-time commitment of a few hours.  We are led by our president and represented by Jacob Hendriks on the National Board.  The focus of our Chapter Meetings is fundraising and awareness.

If you are looking for help, click these links for information on Support Group Meetings or the Resource Centre, which are run by our Registered Social Worker, Karl Lottes.

The dated links on the right hand side of this page provide more event listings.
