Victoria, B.C. filmmaker, Ana de Lara claims her latest film, Near Silence, was inspired by a news story.  The nine minute film portrays the drastic actions taken by a caregiving wife whose husband has advanced HD.  It premiered September 1, 2010 at the Montreal World Film Festival.
